Without giving too much away (trust me, this is a twisty ride), let's just say there are more twists here than on a pretzel factory assembly line. At one point, you'll probably find yourself yelling "How does she still have a job?" as Kennedy makes absolutely questionable decisions that, let's face it, would make any sane person scream-"RUN, GIRL, RUN!"

Throughout the novel, themes of loyalty, faith, and perseverance are tossed around like confetti at a New Year's Eve party-as if they are the key ingredients to staying alive in this madcap setup. Kennedy's faith plays a huge role, illustrating that even in the midst of turmoil and madness, there's always a glimmer of hope and a dash of divine intervention. Though, to be honest, sometimes you wish that divine force would just send her a map and a guide.

By the end of this rollercoaster, readers are left wondering if Kennedy is in for a heavenly conclusion or if she's about to nosedive straight into a fiery oblivion. Is her faith enough to carry her through? Will she ever learn to take a vacation? My money's on the first option.
